DataStream Technologies, Inc., founded 1994, is owned and run by Charles Gulotta, Jr.  Charles graduated from New York Institute of Technology in 1988 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering, and upon graduation went to work for Johnson Controls.  After a few years, he moved into the Hospital sector working at Mount Sinai Medical Center as the HVAC Manager.  During this time, he opened up DataStream Technologies, Inc. providing HVAC controls consultation services as a part time side business.  Charles has held a wide variety of positions within the controls and engineering space, from a controls technician, to HVAC manager at a hospital, to the Director of Engineering.

In 2004, Charles made the decision to take DataStream to the next level and went full time with his company. Since then, he has continued to grow his business and company and now serves a variety of customers, including hospitals, hotels, schools and other commercial properties. DataStream Technologies, Inc. prides itself in being able to provide a unique level of customer service as a smaller company, and strives to always put the customer and their needs first. DataStream Technologies, Inc. is an authorized Johnson Controls Facility Explorer System Integrator (ASI), certified in Niagara4 and Niagara AX, and has technicians with expertise in not only the latest JCI FX product line, but also older controllers such as DX9100’s and DSC-8500’s.
